我试过很多方法，比如和不同的老师上课，和英语母语者聊天，看各种各样的视频等等。但是它们都不太适合我。

I tried many methods, such as taking classes with different teachers, chatting with native English speakers, and watching various videos. However, they were not very suitable for me.

比如上课，需要和老师约时间，有点儿麻烦；比如去交外国朋友，但是我又是一个i人，i人就是比较内向的人；又比如看视频，大多数的视频博主们说得都很快，还用了很多俚语，虽然这可以让我了解更地道的表达方式，但是找到适合我水平的内容并不容易。这些都是我没有坚持下去的原因。

For example, taking classes required scheduling time with the teacher, which was a bit inconvenient. Making foreign friends was difficult for me because I am an introvert. Watching videos was also challenging because most video bloggers spoke very quickly and used a lot of slang. Although this helped me understand more authentic expressions, finding content suitable for my level was not easy. These are the reasons why I couldn't stick with those methods.

我仔细地想了又想，什么样的方式是我喜欢的呢？

I carefully considered what kind of learning method I would like.

第一，当然是随时都可以学习，我希望我可以坐地铁的时候学习，在外面散步的时候可以学习，躺在床上闭着眼睛的时候也可以学习；第二，我想要轻松、快乐、没有压力的学习方式，就像和真的朋友聊天一样，讨论各种各样有意思的话题，而不是只讲一些语法、词汇和课文。第三，是专门针对外国学习者的，因为这样语速会慢一点儿，俚语和难的词也会有详细的解释。

First, I wanted to learn anytime, anywhere. I wanted to learn while riding the subway, walking outside, and even lying in bed with my eyes closed. Second, I wanted a relaxed, enjoyable, and stress-free learning method, just like chatting with real friends and discussing various interesting topics, rather than just talking about grammar, vocabulary, and texts. Third, it had to be specifically designed for foreign learners, so the speed would be slower, and slang and difficult words would have detailed explanations.

所以，说了这么多，就是想说，这个播客是为正在学习中文的中高级学习者准备的，在这里我会聊到我的一些生活，聊到我对一些事情的看法，也会聊到中文中的一些非常有意思的现象。我非常想分享给大家。

So, after saying so much, I want to say that this podcast is intended for intermediate to advanced Chinese learners. Here, I will talk about some of my life experiences, my views on various matters, and some very interesting phenomena in Chinese. I am very eager to share with you all.
